The name itself, “Uggie Boo’s,” draws curiosity and attention.  

Any “Uggie Boo” (a term used to describe a tired, not so pretty piece of furniture or household item) can be re-purposed

into a beautiful, interesting, piece of art.  And that is exactly what Uggie Boo’s does.

THE REAL STORY BEHIND THE NAME   

In the 70’s when female nudity became prevalent in movies,

Grandmother, Dolores Belle (Godfrey) Hilson would scream “Uggie Boos!  Uggie Boos”!  

Which meant to close your eyes because there was an inappropriate scene.  She was a gem.
